Happy Children

Happy children means happy mothers

Angelina is a 30-year-old mother, married at 15, she has seven children aged between 16 and 15 months. Her husband was killed, leaving her solely responsible over the whole family.

Angelina and her 3-year-old daughter, Daisy, are both HIV+ Daisy attends the ECD and is doing extremely well. With the responsibility of raising 7 children, which can be economically draining, Angelina is relieved that Daisy is being taken care of and supported educationally.

The ECD plays an imperative role in the development and security of the children. The question that is predominantly on the mothers’ minds is, what becomes of their children when they require further education out of the ECD?

This case typically resonates with the way these people live their lives. The belief that the more children you acquire, the richer you are in the future. Without, appreciating that education and sustainability are required for economic empowerment.

Leave a Legacy

Including a gift in your Will to AIDS Orphan is one of the most significant and lasting ways you can help children orphaned by AIDS.

Gifts in Wills are not subject to Inheritance Tax so they can significantly reduce the tax burden on your estate saving your relatives unnecessary heartache and hardship. They are also absolutely vital to AIDS Orphan.

When you remember us with a gift in your Will, you can choose to focus your gift on a particular project or area, or for our general work. Unlike regular donations, however, legacies often have a lag-time of many years between pledge and receipt. As a result, we strongly encourage donors to make their legacy donations general, allowing us to direct the funds, when received, to the areas of most urgent need at that point.
